ABOUT GOLDFISH

GOLDFISH is a short experimental film which focuses on the isolation of the individual within moments of intimacy - a notion which has increasingly come to the forefront of collective consciousness within post-modern, post-Internet society. The film is thematically inspired by intimate conversations and encounters between strangers - moments when we expose ourselves, comforted by a mask of anonymity, yet feel no deeper connection to the person or people who "consume" information. GOLDFISH explores this feeling of disconnection and incorporates it with themes of sexuality and internal projection.
